This tour presents the museum through play and the activation of the senses. Children will explore the corners and works of the Maca, interacting with pieces by artists such as Joan Miró, Pablo Gragallo and Eusebio Sempere.
It is a dynamic visit in which students have their first contacts with art. The objective is to explore the different expressive possibilities of the works through play, in which they will be able to discover shapes, colors, symbols and characters from different artistic expressions.
The artists we work with are: Joan Miró for colors and shapes; Alexander Calder as a representative of art in motion; Pablo Gargallo as the father of contemporary sculpture; Julio González for expression and kinetic artists for geometric shapes and optical effects.
This is how I am. (Workshop)
In this workshop we propose that participants create a self-portrait based on the different styles and ways that the museum's artists represent reality.
The objective of this workshop is that through play they work with the way of representing themselves and expressing emotions.

Kindergarten and primary school students have their first contacts with art. What we aim to achieve with this visit and the prepared activities is to discover, in a fun way, what a museum is and what its rooms contain. Throughout the visit, they will learn the simplest and most basic concepts to answer these questions from a playful and creative perspective.

In this second edition of Menuts Veíns, it was the Public School La Aneja in Alicante that developed the project in its kindergarten and primary school classrooms. The selected works were: LA BELLE SOCIÉTÉ by René Magritte, belonging to the Telefónica Collection and KROA B by Víctor Vasarely, from the 20th Century Arts Collection of the MACA. Throughout the months they worked, researched and created works around these artists. The project concluded with the presentation of the works on May 18th, coinciding with the International Museum Day.
This tour presents the museum through play and the activation of the senses. It is a first introduction to a museum that could answer the questions of what a museum is and what it is for. Through play and manipulation, we visit a selection of works from the different collections of the museum that help us work on different concepts such as color, movement, geometric shapes, or any other notion. Children will explore the works of the Maca, interacting with pieces by artists such as Joan Miró, Pablo Gargallo, and Eusebio Sempere.

We propose different tours through the MACA's permanent collections aimed at the school community from their first steps in Early Childhood Education through the end of the cycle in Secondary Education or High School.
Each tour is tailored to current educational needs, adapting them to the MACA's permanent collections and establishing deep connections between artists, movements and trends, contributing to the cultural enrichment of the community. All tours are accompanied by an activity that complements what has been seen during the visit.
