Children and families

16 December 2023

This is a reading promotion activity through art and play, which we carry out in the MACA Library in Alicante, led by María Maraña and Va de cuentos. We offer you a proposal adapted to the online format, for those families who cannot attend in person.

Did you know that when it snows everything becomes silent? Do you know that each snowflake has a unique shape? Do you know that to make a snowflake you need a speck of dust?

Snow is a fascinating and special phenomenon. In some places on the planet it is unlikely to see snow while in others living with snow is the norm.

Today we bring you a selection of albums that feature snow as the main character.

During the first stage of childhood, knowledge of the world and of oneself is acquired through the experience provided by the senses. For this reason, it is fundamental that we provide stimulation for each of the senses individually, but also together, since they are not isolated from one another. These laboratories are a field of learning and discovery and an opportunity to showcase high-quality books both for what they tell and for how they tell it. From 5 to 12 years old. With the support of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Universities and EmploymentIn collaboration with: Provincial Council of Alicante
