We are celebrating! Today, March 22nd, we are turning 10 years old with exciting moments...
It is very difficult to summarize in a video everything we have experienced and learned during this time, but we wanted to give thanks.
THANK YOU to all the people who have made it possible for us to be here today, to all those who have collaborated in each project we have carried out at MACA with commitment
and especially, THANK YOU to you, our audience. Because you make every day worth continuing to work to offer you the best.

The MACA receives the MAV Drop as recognition for its work in promoting equality
The Association Women in the Visual Arts (MAV) has awarded MACA the MAV One Drop mention. This is an action in recognition of museums and art centers that contribute to strengthening the power of museums for equality, the motto of the International Museum Day which this year alludes to the capacity that museums have to transform the reality around us. In this case from a feminist perspective.
Present at the event were MAV members Isabel Tejeda, Gertrudis Gómez and Andrea Restrepo who presented the MAV Drop to the Museum of Contemporary Art of Alicante.
Rosa Castells received the MAV Drop on behalf of MACA knowing that there is still a long way to go to achieve equality with the commitment to improve in some of the criteria aimed at this and thinking about the museum with a gender perspective. A Museum for everyone is also a feminist museum.
