Sculpture, installation and photography are the main media in Nuria Fuster's artistic practice. Her interest in the object and its observation aims to explore and expand our perception of reality and, in the artist's words, the search for the real in reality. To do this, she works with found and obsolete objects from the most diverse origins that she manipulates and decontextualizes to create assemblages that investigate the tension and dialogue between different elements, starting from a process that is simultaneously cold and emotional, playful and solemn. In those found objects, Fuster discovers the trace or accident that makes that kind of ready-made vibrate with authenticity, a truthful character that she could never intentionally reproduce.
