The guided tour of the exhibition "Fora de sèrie Serigraphs from the Ibero-Suiza collection at the UPV" offers a journey through graphic work from the mid-1960s to the 1990s by the main Spanish artists of the time. An opportunity to learn the ins and outs of this technique, from its origins, the antecedents of this technique, its history, its application in art until its arrival in Spain at the hands of Eusebio Sempere and Abel Martín.
Fora de sèrie offers creations by authors such as Equipo Crónica, Equipo Realidad, Renau, Yturralde, Carmen Calvo, Teixidor, Gordillo, Guerrero, Tàpies, Mompó, Campano, Torner, Rueda and a long list of first-rate artists, as well as directly observing the printed material preserved for decades by the family of José Llopis. Dedicated prints, posters, workshop proofs, color or registration proofs, incomplete prints with annotations, positives for exposing screens and other treasures of interest to specialists and researchers in the field of contemporary graphic work.
Accompanying this tour is a screen printing workshop.
In collaboration with the Explicarte Association.

From the late 1960s to the 1990s, the main Spanish authors worked with Íbero-Suiza. Eusebio Sempere was the first of them to learn this technique. The artists, with a clear anti-Franco commitment, used screen printing as a means to disseminate both their ideological concerns and their art.For decades, the family of José Llopis has preserved part of the printed material, from prints dedicated to numbered and signed proofs, posters, workshop proofs, color proofs and incomplete prints that were left out of the edition. Material that today allows us to understand the creative process of the artists and the workshop technicians and that is of great interest to specialists and researchers in the field of contemporary graphic work. The exhibition is composed of 46 pieces, two of them from the MACA. 44 screen prints and 1 original work. In addition to documentary material, letters, drawings, screens, photographs.... and a selection of posters also printed in screen printing.
