In this album and in its lyrical narrative, inspired by the language of his autobiography, readers are shown, viewed from many different windows, the experiences of childhood and war that marked the life and art of Marc Chagall. Known for both his dazzling paintings and his colorful stained glass windows, Marc Chagall rose from his humble origins to become one of the most famous artists in the world. Discover the work of Marc Chagall in this wonderful album by the creators of The Sound of Colors, winner of the Caldecott Honor award.

We will create some paper contraptions to set in motion the lovers characters from Chagall's paintings, whom he constantly depicted floating or flying over the city.
